About Galee
Founder, Off Your Plate
Galee Kalikow is a NYC-based hospitality professional with over a decade of industry experience. After years of working with emerging businesses and entrepreneurs, Galee started off your plate in the fall of 2020 - an administrative and project management service for culinary professionals.
Off Your Plate was designed to take on the administrative functions and hurdles of small hospitality businesses, allowing entrepreneurs to focus on the work that they are most passionate about. We offer a range of administrative services, from operations, to client communications, to organization and logistics.
Prior to off your plate, Galee worked in a variety of hospitality roles in New York City, including management at Butter Lane, guest relations at Major Food Group, and over four years at Mah-Ze-Dahr bakery, founded by James Beard award nominee Umber Ahmad. As Chief of Staff at Mah-Ze-Dahr, she was tasked with overseeing the construction, hiring, logistics and management of their locations, as well as a robust e-commerce and corporate gifting operation.
Galee graduated from Tulane University with an undergraduate degree in business management and marketing. She is an amateur baker, specializing in pies and challah - you can check out her baked goods @iamgalee.
